Steemit Sacred Seven Rule - Must Read

Just few days ago, I did a briefing session to a friend about steemit. I emphasized the need to ensure that the password is kept, at best written down on a piece of paper or in a book and put it in a vault for safe keeping.

Why? Because at the end of the day, it isn't just about login OR access to the the website , it's about dollar and cent.

Steemit was serious about their password rule. Hey, nobody dare to play around OR take risk with losing password especially with the value on how much steem is traded today.

Just in case you forgotten what is the rule.

The first rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
The second rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
The third rule of Steemit is: We cannot recover your password.
The fourth rule: If you can remember the password, it's not secure.
The fifth rule: Use only randomly-generated passwords.
The sixth rule: Do not tell anyone your password.
The seventh rule: Always back up your password.

So to all newbie. Take this god damn rules seriously. Or else you got not one to blame but yourself.

As for my friend, I told him to register again with new email, new phone number and fresh username.

But he says he will wait for another two days for steemit.Com to respond and help.

I told him that two days is a lot of money. LOL.

Perhaps, you one is not in the system yet. It hard for them to really appreciate it's true value.

Anyway, here is what happen to him. He received his password. Not sure how he did it, he said he type those password out one by one perhaps in another tab, the he press login and the it went back to login while at the same time he deleted the tab where there was password.
It was more or less like that.

Anyway, I just want to remind all of you , especially the newbie. Don't lose the freaking password.

Has anyone experience losing password before even login , and steemit.com assist with new password?
