How Steemit is Taught in Borneo

Last night we had our steemit bootcamp organized. Thank you to @wilsonkoh and @papanog for organizing it. A week plus a go I had put up a post on it too, and very happy that the respond is positive with lots of new faces attending the event.

It is also nice to see that existing members attended the steemit bootcamp, while some say it is like an refresher but in all honestly we all come together not just to support the event but the gathering is important to ensure that the friendship and togetherness is build through the likes of this event.

After event, everyone has their own plans while few of us went to have our extended session since our fellow Steemian from labuan came all the way to kota Kinabalu to support and be part of the event.

There were lots of things covered during the event. However most of it is mainly introductory information to the world of steemit, steem and steem blockchain

To ensure that Question is thrown in on an organized manner, we uses sli.do so those that is shy could through their question unanimously. It is indeed an effective tool for event like this.

I'm sabah, Malaysia Borneo, we organize ourselves by these following event.

1. Steemit Bootcamp
   This is an introductory 3 hours session on steemit.

Target Audience : Those that is new, just got a steemit account and anyone who want to learn how to do proper Steemit introduction so to educate their friends.

1. Steemit MasterClass
   A two days event that focuses on further insight on steemit and content creation. This masterclass will leave them with knowledge better Skillsets in blogging at steemit

Target Audience : For those who already have an account and started posting several post and want to be greater at creating content. And those who wish to know more everything Steemit.

1. Meetups

This is a casual meetup up inviting new and exciting steemians for get together, to build friendship, organized project and events. Here we also learn a thing or two from everyone experiences , new information and mainly to build greater friendship among steemians

So of you are around kota Kinabalu, sabah and in the future wishes to join us and learn more about Steemit , you are definitely welcome. Being part of our community in teammalaysia will surely help you to be better in steemit as we have organized ourself with all of these events mention above.
