Collaborative Approach in Growing A Decentralized Online Community

A month ago after the teammalaysia meetup in big hug burger, my lovely wife @viverridae, @bitrocker2020 and myself discuss about getting a masterclass going along with a meet up, a long the way, @bitrocker got master trainer @maverickfoo involved and I got the tourism champ @veenang in discussion to get him coordinate with the TeamMalayisa gathering at his place.

What was awesome. @veenang accept steem, making him the first travel agency that accept steem in Malaysia, or perhaps in Asia. We had good time at beinggis fireflies cruise and the food is awesome. Thank you bro.

I wish thanks to beautiful @deborism for helping out during the class, and the handsome and talented @awesomianist for giving support and additional insight to everyone.

Teammalaysia is a growing strong community. This event just showcase the fun we all could have when we are united and open to continuous learning and sharing. Working together is the key to our successes. Thank you everyone for supporting the community.

The approach to growing an offline decentralized community means three thing, there is no hierarchy, no endorsement and on appointment leadership.

This also means that if Ego and power that drive a person, then it would be hard to grow a sustainable and successful community.

In this decentralized scenario, Leadership is earned , can not be demanded. Engagement and collaboration is crucial to fulfill the the need for achieving the bigger goal. Anyone with hidden agendas is sniff out real fast and information about them spread like wildfire. Hence sincerity,honestly and goodwill is crucial to ensure a successful community build on a decentralised online community. Hence the need for collaboration to see this type of community succeed, a collaboration jus like we all did on this event.

Anyway, I want to write so much about steemit masterclass and TeamMalayisa gathering in Sabah but everyone has written about it. So I wish to share you a video I put on, I hope would entice you to join us again on our next gathering.

Why Am I Here
