I have stop convincing people to come onboard. It annoys me a great deal when people complaining about money issue and yet when a suggestion is given (join Steemit), they are still not doing anything about it. They give way too many excuses - don't know what to write about, not artsy enough etc yet spend hours of their life watching YT or Facebooking. I just don't get it. These days I just do my own thing and mingle with the good folks here.
