It has been 5 weeks.....Love is patient, love is kind

It has been 5 weeks since i have been in a relationship. It is always so hard to find the one that you would spend the rest of your life with from the day i said yes to being in a relationship with him till the day i declare I Do in the future but God showed me that even how dark or how sad the past break ups could be , there will always be a light shinning and a glimpse of hope that God is preparing you for that someone that God has been saving for you.

5 weeks to some people would meant nothing compared to 2 months or 2 years but trust me , I have grown so much as a person just by being in this relationship. It has taught me to be very patient with the people around me and with other things, not to rush into things so fast but just go with the flow. Being in this relationship for the past 5 weeks have also stir up my prayer life and being able to pray and worship together as a couple.

It has taught me that whatever people say or whatever or how people judge it does not matter because what truly matters is Jesus and that Jesus will always be the centre of this relationship.

There was one time in high school when even as friends we talk in front of our classmates and we will get bullied and tease by them because they would auto think oh why can't i find a better good looking guy. To be honest to me , it does not matter how the looks are. To me it is all about the heart and personality. It has come to a point that no matter how much you love your soulmate , all those does not matter.

Here we are entering our into 6 weeks very soon and going through Long distance relationship , we both thought it would be some heartbreaking moment because we would not be seeing each other for 3 weeks but it actually has made us both much more stronger as an individual and taught us to trust the Lord.

It's crazy to think that i am now in a relationship with my high school sweetheart and how both our hearts and hands are sealed together , tightly not letting go and not regretting any decision made and already starting to plan for our future and see how the Lord leads and looking for rings.
