Running On STEEM Podcast Episode#009 - What I Really Think about SteemIt

Just me giving my real honest thoughts about SteemIt and the current cryptocurrency situation after being part of this whole world for more than a month.
I think to do well on SteemIt, you need to look at the whole thing long term. And most importantly, you have to be grateful that you found this platform at this point in time while it's still in it's infancy stage! There's so much to gain and so much upside to it if everything goes well. We could be living our life by blogging about what we like and creating awesome content that we can be proud of. But we have to approach it from that point of view and way of thinking.

@branlee87 ... keep believing ... when i started steem was only below the $1 USD ... then it got stuck between $1.2 - $1.6 for the longest time till .. November when it shot up to $3 - $8 and SBD went from $0.84 to $16 .
Now its hovering above $4 ... a lot of us who remembers the $1.2 or even $0.94 are very happy actually. So don't be disheartened and you are right .. its still in its infancy stage and the value of Steem will only go up !

Thank you for the perspective, @bitrocker2020. Yeah, @zord189 told me about the early days of steemit and how everyone was so happy when Steem finally hit the 1usd mark! I try to use that tale as a way to keep my expectations grounded in the reality that we're actually doing ok as far as steemit is concerned.
I'm truly grateful for the platform and for the chance to be a full time content creator.

I actually enjoyed this free form as well! very brave of you to go unscripted and unedited. like being naked (ok. bad analogy). but it's a timely reminder for me to put things into perspective when I get impatient (definitely need to work on that) and focus on the big picture. really glad we got onboard early ;)
