With the rapid growth rate of steemit internationally and also within the region I would quickly like to share what TeamMalaysia Project is all about and let you all know how we intend to proceed with growing steemit in Malaysia.

Where we are

As you can clearly see that the majority of users are coming from USA followed strongly by Korea and UK. Other regions are now growing at a very rapid stage especially from our neighbouring country Indonesia. Malaysia however is now at its infant stage with only a handful who are activly posting regularly at this point of time.

What is TeamMalaysia Project

We are a group of individuals mainly myself ( @bitrocker2020 ) & @awesomianist, supported strongly by a few senior steemians like @kevinwong, @donkeypong & @liberosist to grow & to create awareness of steemit throughout Malaysia. We are committed to assist and to guide new steemians to establish themselves as content contributors with a diverse range of topics mainly written in English and/or in Bahasa Malaysia

How does TeamMalaysia Team support YOU

One of the main challenges being new in Steemit is to gain followers for your blog. We will be your first few followers together with all other teammalaysia supporters.

How can this be done ?

1. Join our FB group "Steem Community - Malaysia" - priority is for Malaysians

2. Share your steemit posts on this FB group ( optional )- any other posts which is not linking back to steemit or none steemit related will be deleted without question. You are allowed to share only 1 post every 24 hours.

3. Add in teammalaysia in your tags, if you do not use this tag it is going to be harder to find you and you may not get curated by us.

4. Please post in either English or Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages may be added in the later stages.

5. A single author can only be upvoted once in 24 hours unless we think otherwise.

6. We love quality posts. Just pasting 10 photographs and not describing anything is not unappropriate not just for teammalaysia , but also in steemit generally. Please spend time to create your post and make it readable for everyone on steemit. You stand to get a higher upvote value from us if you create really good content.

By default we will monitor posts which has been tagged with teammalaysia and curate it with our votes as a priority. Our curation is primarily only for Malaysians or residence who resides in Malaysia.

Please remember that we are not obligated to vote on your post and its to our sole discretion if we deem your post unworthy of our votes.

When is it not cool and you do not get curated

1. You get caught by @cheetah or @steemcleaners for copying and pasting ( plagiarism ) from other sites.

2. You stole someone's photo / video and do not acknowledge where it came from

3. You try to run your affiliate marketing in the post. If you are involved in MLM and want to share your personal experiences, you are more then welcome. However if you just paste brochures and expect everyone to click on a link, you will be ignored. SteemIt users appreciates good original content and not spam like what you get on other platforms.

4. You do not help in supporting other teammalaysia bloggers and only expect to to receive upvotes

5. Insults and negativity always gets you nowhere

6. SPAM - we hate it, steemians hate it, teammalaysia hates it ! so DO NOT DO IT !

How you can help grow TeamMalaysia

1. Support authors if you like thier post / work and also it would be nice to leave a positive comment. All new steemians needs constructive comments and appreciates acknowledgement of their efforts of placing thier posts on steemit. It also provides them a warm welcome to the platform

2. Support each other in teammalaysia and be a great curator.

3. Invite your friends, family & people you meet in your daily lives to join steemit and this great community of content creators.

4. If you want to host a meetup at your location with teammalaysia support, do let me @bitrocker2020 ( Simon Pang ) or @awesomianist ( Kristian Kho ) know on FB and lets make it happen.

5. Suggestions on improvement of this project are always welcome. Do place your suggestions to either me or Kristian on how we can improve as we totally understand that this project can't move without your support as well. We will discuss your suggestions within the curators chat group and see if your suggestion can be implemented.

By having said all of that, we do hope that your journey on Steemit is an amazing one as we believe strongly on the platform and only want to see it grow to be the best social blogging platform.
