Post-covid economic confidence [Malaysia]

The article mentioned that this year top 3 Malaysia FDI consist of USA RM26.8 billion, China RM15.7 billion and Japan RM12.2 billion in sectors like manufacturing, services & raw material. Indeed quite an encouraging development.

It seems many foreign investors have some kind of risk management allocation , that not to put all eggs into a single basket (China), though it's a world factory.

And even China themselves also invest RM 15.3 billion into Malaysia manufacturing sector, and this has been continuously 4 years became the single largest investment source.

So we can predict that post-covid, there will be quite big scale of capital outflow from China to neighbouring countries eg Malaysia out of the risk management.

But can Malaysia position himself out from these crowd to be among the top destination for this risk-averse direction? I guess it stands some high chance as Malaysia is doing quite well in this covid19 virus contaiment . The Motion Control Order thus far gain some confidence among the international investors.

Have faith but stay home for the moment for better future !
