Christmas Holiday Back KL- Super huge jam+ bus accident

Even I knew that to cross the world's busiest checkpoint- Singapore-JB causeway would be a pain during the long weekend cum Christmas holiday, but never did i expect the situation was that bad and I have no choice as need to go back KL for friend's wedding dinner.

Woke up super early to catch the early MRT, the 6.30am MRT was so empty:

& reach to Kranji MRT withuot many people in queue (around 30+), but as soon as the bus 170 turned into the Woodland Road, we started to see the huge jam. & alot of passengers decided to walk to the custom building, so I follow these people coz I believe they are frequent traveller between Kranji & Woodland custom- > walked for some 1.5km.

Managed to overtake 7-8 bus 170 (that time felt right decision to walk) but when we were about to reach the bus passenger alighting point, the custom officers received order tru his walkie-talkie and asked us to turn back, to enter the building from the KTM train station (bad luck started, the custom building is just 200 steps away only!) . The custom officer yelled at the person in front who tried to bypass officers as the building was so near (yet so far). Sigh have to U-turn back and take a long walk to the building.

There were so many people inside the custom building , queuing to clear the custom, and after you cleared the custom -another queue awaiting - the bus queue to JB Kastam. :(

Finally all Huha stuffs settled and reached Larkin bus terminal at 1015am (4 hours after I left home). All major bus companies tickets to KL sold out ! I have to check all counters and found one - Trans Star . Though it was higher priced RM60, but I thought it's acceptable during holiday season and a proper bus ticket was issued.

Larkin Sentral nowaday deploy new system where passengers only allowed to enter the bus bay some 15 min ahead of departure time. So finally my time slot (11:30am) was called to go in bus bay -C9.

There was 1 Trans Star guy stood at C9 bay asking if taking the bus 7776, and he collected our bus ticket telling us bus was on the way.

Ended up stood there like penguin waited for 45 min (bad luck +2) , multiples of 5 min excuses were given- Jam here and there, bus pump petrol. Bus came but not those normal long journey bus but Bas Persiaran (4 seater a row- bad luck +3)

At last bus departed Larkin 1230- 1 hour later than scheduled time. (At this time I still think high chance I could still make it to my friend's wedding dinner)

Then the bus driver decided to go in Yong Peng for his free makan, as this is a normal practice for long journey trip. But after the allocated 30min makan time, some aunties treated Yong Peng Makan as if shopping relaxing trip, never show up in the bus but enjoy makan happily in this full-of-flies stop-over resting place. Few announcements made only slowly return to bus :"Aiya, lupalah masa" (@#$% , bad luck +4)

It started rain at Muar side, just when I thought "what a luck , traffic gonna slow-down" , traffic indeed slow-down quite a bit and thanks god , rain stopped after entering Melaka , "oh ya, still have time, I gotta plan carefully after reaching home, bath and immediately out for dinner".

Bus had decided to bang the car in front at the fast lane KM185! it was a slightly uphill road and our bus bang the front car , causing it to hit another Singapore-registered car in front ! (bad luck +5) .Thanks god that car kena bang not of big accident, their back mirror ,bumper and car plate broken , the Singapore car bumper also damaged.

Decided not to go my friend's wedding dinner at this time ( not sure how long it gonna take to do those police reporting stuff, so my main objective to back KL this time failed badly ).

Bad luck never ended after involving in accident. This bus rupa-rupanya serving the Seremban passengers.. went in Seremban with so many traffic lights at the main road. It was 1 hour later we back to highway .

And driver mood maybe badly affected by the accident, at Nilai he decided to turn into Elite highway! Walau eh, we are supposed to go TBS ! Elite highway exit Putrajaya then go Mex highway, hmm well round trip sight seeing Cyberjaya, not bad huh.

Finally reached TBS 830pm.. 14 hour journey from Singapore to KL (yet havent reached home)

Then I learnt today I walked triple more than the average daily steps, champion !
