What happen to this corn?

I spend my weekend here, in my hometown. The weather were so hot and I can't do anything.

My parents brought a bundle of corn from their corn field. The corn field planted far away from home, it is in different districts. Due to lack of care, the corn had been attacked by the squirrel and the bird. So not much they can sell, so they brought it home.

Compare with the others corn.

Can you see the difference?

The colour , size and the shapes had significantly different. The rare corn had a soft purple colour compare the others. The size also gigantic! It was my first time saw a corn like this. And the shapes ... my sister @debbie89 say, it's like a teeth. A vampire teeth I guess.

I'd plucked a corn seed.

See... Compare with my big thumb nail. It's super rare for me because it is my first time to see this kind of corn.

Are the corn were different "Gen" or it's mutation?

I also don't know. So for precautions, we don't eat this corn... Just keep the pictures as memory...😅

I'd made search about this kind of corn. HERE says it's due to fungus.

But it's first time for me to see this type of corn... So we leave it's for now.
