Orange and Strawberries Juice
This deliciously refreshing juice has a high vitamin C content to ward off colds so administer at the first sign of sniffles.
Strawberries are natural painkillers. Strawberry will help keep your child from becoming anaemic as they are high in vitamin C and folate which is necessary for red blood cell manufacture.
Oranges are full of potassium which is vital for rehydration. Orange contain huge levels of vitamin C.
Making this juice a good choice after tiring play. Freeze the liquid to make a great ice lolly for sore throats. Whether in juices or smoothies strawberry and orange are a popular choice with children.
Ingredients (single serving)
- strawberries - 200g (7 oz)
- Orange - 2
Steps
Hull the strawberries.
Peel the oranges.
Divide the flesh into segment, then juice with the strawberries.
Serve straight over ice or whiz in a blender with a couple smoothie.
Decorate with sliced strawberries, if liked.
