Malaysia Autoshow 2017 Part 1/2

Malaysia Autoshow 2017 is an annual event host by the Malaysia Automotive Institue Agency, one of the largest & most exciting Autoshow in Malaysia. Showcase of latest cars available in the market, test drives, off-road experience and experience the latest technology onboard.

It was a cloudy afternoon on 11th Nov, my friends and I had planned to give a visit to this Autoshow given free tickets by one of my friends. We've gathered at McDonald, Equine Park for lunch and head towards to the venue at 3 PM, the sky is much cloudy and looks to be raining soon.

Upon arriving, we headed to Hall C to start our viewing of latest Auto available. The first car we saw is the caged New Myvi Icon A.K.A God Car in Malaysia (Why I say God Car is because even you drive supercar on the road, there will always be a Myvi tailgating you 😎) yet to be set to launch officially on the 16th November 2017

Side View, Longer and Wider body with 15-inch dual tone alloy wheels (High spec)

Personal opinion, I can say that this Myvi looks better on the exterior, better efficiency engine, but this the same old gearbox (4-speed auto/5-spee​d manual) and it's a ​value for money car just RM 44,300 till RM 55,300.​ Finally, ​ the new Myvi is equipped with ABS, EBD, VSC, TRC, 5-stars ASEAN NCAP and 4 Airbags across the variant (6 airbags for the top spec variant).

Moving onto Honda, the most eye-catchy​ Front-Wheel Drive Nürburgring King, 2018 Honda Civic Type R (FK8) with the best record on 7:43.8 on the track. Packed with 310PS of horsepower (slightly detuned version compare to UK and EU market of 320PS), 400Nm of torque and 6 speed Manual Transmission, this FK8 can perform the century sprint of 0 to 100km/h in just 5.7 seconds 🤤. For those who have RM 320k to spare, this is one of the cars available in Malaysia

Besides the Civic Type R, there is also the 2018 Subaru WRX STi and the 2018 Kia Stinger both can similar match with. Due to the car is not available to be view like the Civic, I only managed to snap pictures on the exterior but hopefully I'm able to get a test drive unit on some other dealership in the near future.
