Right before Lori's first E.R. scare, her best friend since pre-kindergarten was hospitalized with pneumonia, sank into a coma, was declared to have "zero brain activity," and all her family flocked to her, even painting her nails, and talked to her, and though I'd expected a funeral soon, this woman rallied around--now she's talking and should be walking in four months - and says she was aware of everyone even though she couldn't show it! Love it! !
