Finishing touches on the 1HZ turbo Kit install

Working under lights the finishing touches on the 1HZ turbo Kit install looks so Factory Fit, if I must say so myself.
In a few more years it'll be 30 years for the 1HZ and 30 years of Berrima Turbo System installs running around out there. So how reliable is a Turbo system when installed on a 1HZ. As reliable as the guy doing the final adjustments. In nearly 30 years of the 1HZ we have seen some really sad cases come through these workshop doors. The one that can be prevented is an engine failure from over heating with a turbo. The guy on the fuel screw kills a Diesel NOT the Turbo. Let's be clear on that.
It's up to us a responsible mechanics to set things up to last. We've seen a very reliable history in the past 3 or 4 decades of Diesel 4WDs but amongst that there has been horror stories.
Don't trust your Diesel to just anyone.
Yep... for sure we know not everyone can come to us. But at least armed with the right info you can make sure you have the skill to ask and question how your Diesel is being set up. Get educated on your Diesel and enjoy.
