Dear TEAM AUSTRALIA members and friends,
There is a new player in this social media / blockchain space. It is onG Social!
Just like Steemit, they are 'returning power to the people' by uncensoring content and giving us right wing conservatives a voice.
And just like Steemit... they pay you for your efforts (at least they claim to).

POWER TO THE PEOPLE: ONG.SOCIAL OFFERS A BLOCKCHAIN-BASED SOLUTION TO FACEBOOK’S FAKE NEWS PROBLEM
The onG.social platform looks and feels very similar to Facebook - fast and dynamic.
They are in the process of moving to a Blockchain with an ICO currently being run - 6 days to go.
They already have mobile apps up and running.
It appears you can link your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn feeds to your onG account - earning you money as you post through advertising.
They claim to be in the process of linking up with Steem and Steemit.
I did see somewhere that there are only 3,000 user accounts at present - so you will be a very early adopter.
I have now established a closed group within onG - 'Team Australia'. If you decide to check out onG - come join the group - it will be open to all TEAM AUSTRALIA Steemit members - here we could be paid to participate in group discussions.
I noticed there is already an open Steemit Group on the platform - currently 15 members.
I don't necessarily see onG Social as being competition for Steem - infact they could complement each other quite well. As onG.social does one thing Steemit fails to do - it attracts advertiser revenue to pay users.
Finally - they do encourage Steemit users to post their Steemit posts on the site - hopefully earning us all more money for our posts.

Are we thinking this could be as successful as steemit's current position & is the ICO worth getting in on do you think SK?

I chucked in $25 worth of ETH. Worst comes to worse, its the cost of a schnitty and a drink.
That was my initial thought too. Really brings home how new we still are in terms of social media blockchains especially, lots of fresh ground to break yet.
