Last week I did a post about these Coles Supermarket plastic giveaway toys looking like fruit and all having their own story.
https://steemit.com/steemsilvergold/@plumey/forget-gold-forget-silver-this-is-where-the-money-is

Well, since then it's all gone ape shit - people are making some big bucks selling this shit. (the genuine ones)

I cannot get my head around the whole idea????
So Coles has a promotion where people are given one little plastic character for every $30 they spend. (collect one of each ... 24, I think....and you have a full set....yay) - That's fair enough.

BUT .......they also release a series of rare versions of some of the characters..........
People who get one or two decide to stick them on ebay and see what happens.........here's some pictures of how it turns out. (I took photos instead of screen shots just to make it a bit more real)

I shit you not, absolutely incredible!!!!

SO, the free little plastic stick on toys are suddenly valuable? How can this be? Amazing shit.
To get one, You need to spend $30 in Coles.
To get a full set you need to spend a minimum of $720......but what if you get repeats over and over......how big will your spend need to be to get the full set........ let's set up a secondary trading market.......problem solved.

Ok - that works well and gives our sales a boost.....
How about a few teasers and Bonuses..... Social Media will go off.
Let's throw 100 Golden Bananas out there as a bonus , where each customer gets a $100 gift voucher - good promo but wont cost much.

Faarrkk!!! The average resell of Golden Billy The Banana is $10,000 each.
Stop the World and let me off!!

Google "Stikeez" and be freaked out!

Sort:

This says more about the dollar than it does about the value of the little lumps of coloured plastic.

Absolutely - 100 plastic Pennies = $3.49....... 1 supermarket mini plastic gold banana = $10,000

When my parents tell me to sell my crypto and pay off my house :)
Owing Aussie dollars is getting less scary every day. When you understand how it all works, it's holding them that's scary.

Stock up on those plastic supermarket sticky things - ROI is huge - how could you lose?
DO NOT invest in Cryptos or Precious Metals.... stick to paper and plastic!

I think this is BS, I reckon it's Coles buying them off themselves to promote their shit. What sort of brainless twit would pay $30,000 for a little piece of crap? cheers mate.
