Victorian Labor
I'm overwhelmed by the opportunity to feature on the Victorian Labor Bus in this year's election not only representing my community but also Labor.
After seeing Matthew Guy's bus void of community, void of representation it goes to show the only person the Liberals care about are themselves.
I have been a member since 2012 when I undertook studies at Victoria University in Community Services and Community Development which is now FREE under a Daniel Andrews Labor Government and I made the decision to become politically active to make change for those in my community.
Over those years I have had the opportunity to get involved in policy development that benefits all Victorians.
I have also assisted State and Federal campaigns and nothing brings more more satisfaction then seeing wonderful Labor MPs elected.
I have also made great new friends which I will now know for a lifetime despite not being able to catch up with everyone all the time we are always there for each other fighting the same fight across the state and country.
Across the west we have an all star team Natalie Suleyman MP, Natalie Hutchins, Katie Hall - Labor for Footscray, Marlene Kairouz MP, Melissa Horne, Ingrid Stitt, Jill Hennessy MP, Tim Pallas, Sarah Connolly who are out there every day working hard for their communities and making change.
It hurts when I see people say that Labor doesn't care about the west, It used to drive me bananas because I know the hard work and dedication our MPs have for our community. A few years into the political bubble and I've learned those words just come from those in opposition seeking to plant political unrest.
The west is Labor because the west knows the work Labor does for us.
Well done to all those who are making sacrifices today for tomorrow.

That would have been great, you're very right about Libs running a very insular campaign, focusing on issues that more directly relate to Federal politics, very silly. For those who pay attention, its no wonder they lost.
