The Bitter Springs are located approximately two kilometres from Mataranka in the Katherine region.
Set amongst palms and tropical woodlands in the Elsey National Park
Mataranka Thermal Pool
Mataranka Thermal Pool is a great place to unwind. The warm, crystalline waters of the natural pool is said to have the power to soothe aches and pains after a long day on the road.
The water is spring fed, bubbling up at a fairly constant temperature of 34 degrees Celsius
That's some beautiful nature! And the water temperature sure is warm, I can imagine how relaxing it can be to chill in it.
