Winter in Australia
Australia does get cold too
Just to prove that we do occasionally get some cold weather here is Australia, below is a map of the coldest days that we have ever had. Note most of it is in July and we have just entered July, time to rug up.
Granted that was the coldest ever recorded temperatures on record. In order to paint a more accurate picture for visitors, here is a more typical "cold" winter's day by capital city.
So if your planning on visiting us during our winter months, you will need to pack more than just shorts and tee shirts.
Noice :)
Thanks.
Australia is under hard weather modification program.
Nah, just bit of a cool breeze from the South. :)
I dont mean in this case but in general, australia is for sure under heavy weather modifications. if you don't believe me do some research on haarp and stop looking at your phone and look up in the sky sometimes
Maybe, I spend a portion of my days outside either getting hot or cold depending on what the weather is doing.
I thouth Australia was always warm enough.
You might have to wear jeans and a jumper occasionally.
I used to wear jeans and jumper in summer because I live in LONDON :( :(
One reason not to live in London.
We were down to 3 at 7:30am in Perth this morning. Snow on the Stirling Range in Southern WA today. But this is the first real cold front we've had, quite a bit later than usual. WA desperately needs more rain. Some of the farmers are considering not even planting this season.
Fingers crossed you get more rain, I have never known any farmer to have it easy, they have a tough gig.
Feeling frigid in Melbourne tonight. Brrrrrr.
I know, I'm from Melbourne. :)
Mate it was freezing in the Perth hills last night .... crazy cold !!
Follow my food @ch00fy
So it seems, FYI, already following.
