How to buy Bitcoin in Australia
Can anyone help me out with this?
How do you guys buy bitcoin in Australia?
Localbitcoins - most people are charging $300 or more over the current price, Coinbase price seems ok but they chare 3.99%, Coinspot is $200 extra. Bitcoin australia charge a %5 extra fee, which is ridiculous.
I signed up for Coinjar but never recieved a confimation email, I emailed them to resolve the issue but they cannot be bothered to reply so as far as Im concearned they are out.
I know the price will go up and absorb the fees but it is just getting on my nerves the high costs to buy in.
You could try btcmarkets.net
They have a few coins with good liquidity, low fees and a reasonably buy/sell spread. They often trade at a slight premium, but you can get that back if you sell there anyway you'll get a premium.

Coinspot for buying heaps of different coins..
Thanks, Coinspot seemed expensive as well, I'll use other exchanges to trade, I just want to find a way to buy bitcoin without spending $300+ just to buy it.
there are so many exchanges around.on most of them,it doesnt cost anything to sign up.just make sure to store the coins safe after purchasing...cold wallet,paper wallet are the best option i reckon....Exodus is a good option in between,has a couple of different wallets(coins to store)....
i started with coinjar,but its been a while back....2 years by now..
Thanks, I have tried to get a coinjar account, as they take bpay, but the support is horrible they can't be bothered at all to get back to me, all I wanted to do was sign up. A quick search and it seems other people have a had a few problems with them as well.
no worries mate..looks as a lot of those providers are getting flooded with people signing up,everybody wants to jump on this train.back in 2015,it was easy and very quick.....its been a while since then....
dig a bit here in TEAMAUS and you find some good posts about where you can buy it easy and as well with bpay....i cant help you further,i only have coinjar from AUS...all other exchanges i have are spread all over the planet.....at least about 8-10....
