Hypocritical Left Wing Media

The Australian Home Affairs Minister, Peter Dutton, is under fire for comments he made about providing some targeted refugee assistance to the white farmers in Africa that are being slaughtered under the current regime over there.

The South African government is demanding an apology and stamping their feet like a little 5yr old kid.

But why shouldn't Australia offer refugee assistance to a minority group that are being persecuted and killed?

In the 80's and 90's the world boycotted South Africa because of its anti-black policies of Arpathied. That was the right thing to do, the white overlords were stopping their black subjects from having a vote and a million other things. Through all this, and before in the 50's and 60's the African National Council was born, which while some say it was a political organisation was really nothing more than a group of terrorists. Through the ranks came a litany of Black African figures, the most famous of all being Nelson Mandela.

So we generally all know the story, the Black African's won and broke the ties of this White overlords and Arparthide was over. But then the retributions started. The White farmers were chased off their lands, many were murdered. South Africa became what many of my co-workers describe, a hell hole.

So back to the case at hand, if a minority race are being persecuted, why shouldn't a powerful country such as Australia step in and offer refugee status and protections. Thats what refugee programs are for aren't they?

But it would seem that the Australian media and left wing bleeding hearts think that these white farmers aren't worthy of our protection.

The protection offered by Australia should be freely offered to all persecuted groups. These people certainly aren't Economic Refugee's as most of the Indonesian and Pakistani refugees are, as they have their own farms and a good life. They are true refugees, people that are afraid for their life.

Sadly, the problem all boils down to the stupid word, DIVERSITY. These white farmers aren't diverse enough. Basically reverse racism, they are too white for the lefties. Black refugees pull at the heart strings much more than a white refugee. And thats really sad.

Lastly, just so there is no question. My personal views of immigration are this. There should not be a cut in immigration numbers, nor a rise. I do firmly believe that we should more precisely target legitimate refugees and bring them to Australia on Temporary Protection visas. Then once the risks have subsided, they are returned to their country to live in peace. Australia needs to stop accepting economic refugees and supporting them for life. There should be no differentiation as to who comes, be it black, white, yellow or pink or their religious beliefs. So long as they uphold Australian values while here, and are prepared to leave once the time comes.

To be fair to people who actually think about this - and I don't include most journalists in that category - if there is a problem with what Dutton is saying, it's that it could be interpreted as a suggestion that we fast-track the settlement of white South-African farmers to avoid the 'queue'. I.e.: maybe they wouldn't be expected to sit in a UN camp for years while someone gets around to assessing them for refugee status.

If this were true, then some might reasonably ask whether or not we had done the same for Syrian or Rohingya people fleeing ethnic cleansing that is at least as bad as the white South Africans face.

Of course, if we are fast-tracking other similarly oppressed groups, or if there is no actual intention of fast-tracking the claims of the South Africans, then there Dutton can't be accused of any racial bias. If this is the case, the worst thing he's done is deliberately grandstand in order to fraudulently win back support from white-ethnostate enthusiasts by implying that he will disproportionately favour certain refugees when he has no intention of actually doing so.

Side note: South Africa is a mess - basically a failed state. I expect to see more people (of all backgrounds) trying to leave over the next few years, and really, who can blame them?

Good point you make there mate. And maybe that's where offshore processing centers would be well utilized. This way they can pull people, be it african/syrian etc from the UN camps, they are under Australian protection but still waiting to be processed.

Plus you are also right, it was a good political move to make the One Nation style people a bit happier about immigration.

But the problem with offshore processing centers, is that they really aren't processing centers at all. Most that end up there end up there indefinitely - including children.

I have been sitting on a couple of articles pertaining to the whole South African saga. I wasn't quite sure how to drop them here without it being interpreted as 'racist'. If they were to be it would really ruin my opinion of the Steemit community. Twitter is unbearable at the moment, I get attacked frequently anytime I espouse anything mildly conservative or in support of Dutton.

I've been following Lauren Southern's documentary as she has been dropping the clips for it. It looks devastating! So shameful how vitriolic the Australian left is about helping the Boers.

I have a business relationship with two South Africans at the moment and they are scared for their family left back over there. They got out a few years back because could see where it was all heading.

People should check out the Suidlanders' YouTube page and listen to the interviews with Simon Roche if they haven't already.

Also check out Lauren's documentary. The shorts for it are quite graphic so be prepared for that.

Thanks mate. People on here are generally a bit more sensible. Plus generally if they know my writings I may come across as racist at times, but I try to be generally fair.

The boers did a lot of bad shit, but you cant hold a grudge for 200years, its the same as the aboriginals here. But thats an entirely different topic that will end up having a few more people unfollow me :)

In Australia we only see what the media wants us to see, be it left or right. Independent news sources are the only good way to go. The blogger living the situation day to day.

There should be complete equality among all people of all races and cultures etc.

It's not clear from the article , do you endorse the message in the picture ," Diversity is a weapon against white people" ?

Sorry I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not.
I am all for diversity, but not in its current form. I do agree that the message in that picture is correct in what is happening now. It should NOT be correct, but sadly diversity is being used as a weapon.
Everyone should be equal, black, white, green or purple. Everyone should get equal opportunity. Having targets and KPI's directed at a certain "genre" of person be it male/female or black/white etc is really just another "Ism" (Racism, sexism etc) by another name.

I was not being sarcastic as the message in picture stands without any of the qualifications you laid out in your reply.

There is a very strong economic case to bring farmers from South Africa to Australia. There is a general shortage of skills in the agricultural sector, and the current visa regulations don't cater for well-experienced farmers as they do not have formal qualifications. They only have a few generations of family practical experience behind them. Add to the scenario that white (and possibly other minority race) farmers are specifically targeted in brutal, and often inhumane attacks, there is a case to consider a mutually beneficial arrangement where farmers can come and farm in peace, and bring much-needed skilled labour into the sector.

There are some farmers who would come but can't due to there being no visa category for them, and those that would rather stay and defend their farms.

One good thing is that the world's attention has turned towards the problems the farmers face, but I wouldn't hold my breath that the South African government would do anything other than to deny thay the problem is as bad as it is, and has been for a number of years.

The other good thing, is that these farmers have experience in farming in conditions similar to rural Australia in that its arrid and less than ideal.
If they looked at this arguement, there would be a way to get around the "refugee" issue and become plain old immigrants if the government was to set up an agriculture visa.

same incident, like aceh same indonesia.

I think you'll find that there isn't any particular objection to the sympathising to the plight of the white farmers.

But if you want to understand the context of the outrage, you need to look at Peter Dutton's prior behavior.

The perception is (and I agree with it), that he shows no sympathy for the majority of people requiring refuge - yet he's chosen this one case, that involves white people as the victims, to all of a sudden focus on.

Peter Dutton is a racist - if these very same farmers happened to be black, he wouldn't accept their requests for asylum, and probably throw them in detention somewhere if they somehow made it to our shores.

That is the issue.

Just yesterday there was an article questioning Dutton using his ministerial discretion to approve visa applications for a handful of Au pairs.

I can bet you any money I can guess what the colour of their skin was. And the likelihood was that he may have had some personal connection to at least one of these - which would bring his position in government into question.
