Crypto Portfolio and Reasonings

Gday everyone. This is a bit of a post about my reasonings as to what I hold and why. I'm also going to try and explain where I'd like my portfolio to be sitting, not in terms of dollar values, but rather percentages.

Number 1

Steem

Obviously Steem is my highest holding, and it will more than likely stay that way. I'm currently sitting at about 72.5% of the portfolio in Steem. This is too high for my comfort, I'd like it down around 60%. I have minimal interest in powering down though, so with the constant influx of SP it'll be tricky to get this down to that level.
I still do have high hopes for Steem heading into the 2nd half of the year. With SMT's and communities still on the horizon, and the recent addition of Steem to to top Korean exchange, there are some tailwinds gathering ready to pop the value of Steem higher up.

Number 2

Power Ledger

I have a desire to invest in utility coins, not so much speculative shitcoins that really serve no purpose. Powerledger was the first Australian ICO and is promising some really awesome technology. The great thing that I like about Powerledger is that they already have a working product and are starting to build partnerships for real world adoption. I see a strong future in this player.
My current position is about 8%, Ideally I'd like 10% but I will settle with the 8%.

Number 3

Ethos

Again, Ethos is a great utility coin. They are building a platform to destroy the stranglehold that Coinspot has on the market. Their flagship product, the Universal Wallet, has just been released as a beta to a select group for testing and is in final stages of full market wide release.
This product wil lbe a game changer in bringing crypto to the masses. All the coins are to be held in 1 single wallet, not spread out over 3,4,10 different locations with different keys etc.
I'm currently sitting at about 5.5% here, and thats pretty much bang on where I'd like it.

Number 4

Lympo

I've mentioned Lympo before in previous posts, it is a sports and health utility token. Think Fitbit for the Blockchain. They are currently finishing off their product and are madly partnering with top sports starts. As people move and exercise more, they year Lympo tokens which they can use to purchase products.
I'm sitting at about 5.5% here, and again that smack bang where I want it to be.

##Number 5

EOS

I have big hopes for EOS, as I think the entire crypto community does. I fully expect this to be a top 3 crypto by the end of the year, hopefully getting rid of Etherum and BCash. It's probably the most expensive coin I own, and have big regrets that I didn't pick this up much lower down. I fully expect EOS to replace Ethereum as the main building token moving forward.
I'm only sitting at 3.6% here, and I'm not currently happy about that. Ideally I'd like it to be 5% before launch but the original goal was 10%

Others

I do hold a few other much more speculative coins as well. The biggest of these is Vice which I plan to hold for about another 6 months or so. I want to see how this plays out once the product is up and running. Porn, no matter your moral thoughts, is big business and I'mm here to make money. I still have a 50% bonus owed to be, which will actually bring this up into the top 5 in July. If this tracks with Steem, it could very well be a long term holder.
I also have a small position in Verge and Bitdegree, but I'm not super confident in these projects.

I hope this was helpful to someone.

With so many options out there you really need to do your homework to weed out the bad ones, which you've obviously done. I need to do a whole lot more research myself.

Ethos look very interesting, and I agree with you POWR. I'm hoping to get my crypto diversified eventually, but for now I'm building up my Steem Power (long way to go...), and stacking a little silver on the side :)

My plan is to build my Steem till i hit 5000SP, then I'll probably put on a steady powerdown to keep at that level before letting it build further. So not power down for the sake of bailing, rather for the sake of diversification.
I'm still in 2 minds on silver stacking.

Nice mate! I also hold POWR and have a much to large over weighting of steem for the same reasons. May have to grab a little of this Lympo, don't have that one.

As I mentioned to to BMJ above, my goal is to get 5000SP and then maintain that level with powerdowns.

But then when Vice skyrockets to $5 all these percentages wont be valid and I'll be under weighted in steem lol.

Nice diverse portfolio - that's the way to go!

Hahaha, I like it how Steem is top. Same for me, though I consider it a different category, as I never actually bought Steem. My holding is a result of continuous steeming activity, for almost a year now. As for the other coins, honestly, I don't even know many of them. EOS is the exception, as I felt I should buy some around two months ago. My portfolio consists mainly of BTC, LTC, GNT, DASH, ETH, NEM, BCH, SALT REP, and OMG, more or less in that order (since prices tend to fluctuate).
