Charity Update
So it's been 7days since I put the call out to select who and what this awesome team of ours is going to support.
It was a fairly close race between support Farmers and Childrens hospital, but in the end (so long as my math isn't too dodgy) the Childrens Hospital option took the cake.

So now the real job begins.
What EXACTLY are we going to do?
@plumey mentioned in the previous post that he has an idea, I'm looking forward to hearing that.
We currently have about $120 sitting there, its a good start. The rewards from this post will be going in there as well. I'm also going to try to post more from the actual Team Australia account to bring in some additional rewards.
My times being a bit consumed at the moment with this state election being called, so please forgive me if it takes a bit longer than usual to respond to things.

G'day. Here's a bit of a rundown on the idea I had to cheer up the kids in hospital.
(Many years ago I supported a Charity that was supposed to be doing this but it ended up being a scam - HOWEVER - I always thought the concept was a good one).
The idea is to supply basic colouring in books and puzzle books along with a small packet of coloured pencils in a showbag type packs to the younger kids in Childrens Wards of nominated Hospitals.
We could include a "Leaflet" targeting the parents and hospital staff, explaining that the donation is from Team Australia" on "Steemit" with an invite to join us ....etc... etc
If sourced in bulk, the books and pencils would be quite inexpensive and I'm sure the suppliers would do a special deal or provide some sponsorship when they know it's for charity.
Anyway, that's the rough idea. If anybody thinks it's got merit, then it could be looked into further.
I love it @plumey!!! We did something like this a few weeks ago and have away colouring books and pencils to kids. But that was all in Peso so......
I'll start looking around for suppliers and crunch numbers 😊
