CRAZY AUSSIE CARS (AUSTRALIA)

in #teamaustralia6 years ago

Hi Steemians,

While car lovers around the world enjoy the more typical prestige and performance cars, spare a thought for the land down under where you can see some of the strangest vehicles known to man - and yes, this Ferrari is merely for show.

On any given day you can see a number of the below mentioned vehicles cruising the streets on Australia, so lets takes a look shall we?

  1. Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) Maloo -

HSV is a performance vehicle arm of Holden, unique to Australia, much like what AMG is to Mercedes. The two door ute is much revered in the Australian car scene, featuring a high performance 6.2 litre V8 pumping out over 400hp out of the box. Typically owners modify these utes with high performance camshafts or superchargers, but in this case someone has gone for the ridiculous bullbar and over the top antenna work.

2.Holden VP Commodore

Circa 1992 the Holden VP was a very cool car to own in its day, with the VP SS the basic V8 that everyone wanted. From memory they were a 5.0 with around 230+ HP. Not many good ones around anymore, and this owner has possibly gone a little bit wrong in his interpretation of what it means to restore one of these beaties to its former glory. Check out the insane rear spoiler.

  1. Ford Performance Vehicle (FPV)

And finally, what happens when you lose control of your high performance Ford (bit hard to make out the exact model from the crash site) and end up on top of another car in someone's front yard? FPV's are also very popular in Australia, and with turbo and supercharged models released in Australia small modifications can often mean 600+ HP at the wheels!!

Hope you enjoyed,

Regards,

That bullbar on the ute should be on a truck not that ute.

I know it's out of control!
