Believe it , fear it, embrace it, whatever you decide to do, be aware that the world has opened it's eyes to crypto and blockchain technology. With Bitcoin madness upon us, just this past year, the terms crypto and blockchain have dominated headlines with title such as Ripple Mooning to the BitConnect ponzi. Founder Dr Tal Rapke recently explained recently in an interview "The startup plans to rewrite the prescription medication experience by allowing patients to securely store their prescriptions digitally, doing away with paper, we can reduce medication errors, allergy mix ups and unnecessary hospitalisations while improving the convenience.” With Dr Rapke believing that all patients should sit at the centre of their healthcare, and have access to the latest technological breakthrough (blockchain) to keep health data safe from hackers, consumer centric, etc.
The average person sees 16 different doctors who all prescribe medicines, and zero ability of tracking medicines effectively. Clinicians waste up to 25% of their time on administration related to prescriptions, in addition, increasing health data breaches (120M records hacked in 2015).
ScalaMed is a cryptographically secure network, resulting in instant transactions, privacy, security, immutability, accountability, and impeccable record keeping. Its designed to plug into existing records, resulting in minimal integration and disruption. ScalaMed is compliant with all the required data security requirements, ISO standards, and global standards.
