You have just bought your tickets to Australia and you are preparing for the travel. Australia is an affluent first world country that has never had a war on it's soil. What could possibly be required knowledge other than how to put a Speedo on in the right direction?
Everyone on the planet knows that the deadliest animals on Earth live in Australia. From killer sharks to hissing snakes, crazy dropbears to tiny Irikanji jellyfish, every animal in Australia is out to make your day and painful and memorable experience.
In the decade between 2000 and 2010, a bit over 250 people were viciously slaughtered by our wildlife. These bloodthirsty killers prey on the strong and weak alike, and have no qualms about picking off those who are not paying attention or loaded up with knowledge about animals.
So, what are the most deadly killer animals in Australia? What should you avoid, and what should you be extra careful around? What are their preferred killing methods? These are important things to learn if you want to survive your trip to Australia.
Snakes and Spiders
Yes, everyone thinks of these critters when they hear "deadly animal". However, since the advent of anti-venoms and fast transport to hostpitals and clinics, these guys are toothless. Just make sure you get a photo of the thing that bit you, not for Facebook and Instagram, but to help the guys at the hospital give you the right anti-venom.
Sharks and Crocs
Although this would probably be my least favourite way to die, nope, these guys are big and scary but they are all talk. However, if you do find that you are being eaten by one, perhaps it is best to sacrifice a leg and swim like a maniac! Or just lie back and think happy thoughts...
Bees
Yes, bees are one of the most deadly animals in Australiawith 16 recorded deaths. In Australia, it is possible to buy protective garments like the ones pictured above. It is best to buy one as soon as your place arrives, and put it on before you reach Border Force and Customs. You can't be too safe!
Mammals
Horses and Ponies were the deadliest killers, causing 77 deaths in the studied period. Their tactic is usually to stand still and lure you into sitting on them and then letting you fall off them. Stay safe and keep informed.
Cows, sheep and kangaroos were also top killers. Mostly they will lurk in the bushes, waiting for you to drive past, at which time they will hop out onto the road and kamikaze you. If you are being a real dick to a kangaroo, they will punch you or kick you in the balls.
Also, ever since automatic weapons were banned in Australia, it is now common place for gang warfare to be decided with live weaponry. Be prepared, don't bring a knife to a CAT FIGHT!

Good post, funny animal
Don't forget, all of them are killers!
Lol I like that bit, "Unless I get a full curie then screw you guys" :D
Haha.... I'm not joking. 😈
But..... nah I agree :P
Love your work mate. :)
It's kinda fun, I have a couple of ideas in the bank if I run out things to post for myself...
Damn thats a lot of death per year. Them poor poor australians. Twenty five, yes twenty five people a year. They obviously need more funds for the animal control office. That is far far to many deaths a year. Maybe a new killed by wildlife fund funded by the Australian people. What's the address of your local politicians, so I can send them a new higher tax proposal? They need to make it safe for me to visit your country after all.
Haha, Yes, I guess it's the sacrifice that we must pay to animal gods to allow the rest of us to survive!
