Thanks! The younger kids like him get a lot of a short sentence requests, so it does take some getting used to in order to say the phrases, but once you get them it's hard to get out. ie: "Time to sit,""Time to stand,""Not a choice," etc. I use them a lot with my older kids these days because I am basically programmed to respond in those ways after so many days working in Pre-K. Classical conditioning is a heck of a thing, no matter your age. Lol. His school also uses Conscious Discipline strategies as well, if you want to look into them further.
