With Hugo Blanco [English - Español - Deutsch]
Every May 16 is celebrated in Venezuela the Day of the Composer, for that reason I want to share this image of the year 2012, along with one of the most important composers of the musical activity in Venezuela. Hugo Blanco (1940-2015) stood out as a musician, composer and above all as a producer. He was almost a Midas king in that field, because all his productions were successful.
I had the opportunity to know him a lot, interview him and record in his studio on many occasions. So today I take the opportunity to pay tribute as an author and bring this image to my #tbt.
It is worth noting that the other person in the photo is my cousin, Iris Gavidia, known as La Potra, singer of llanera music, whose first albums were produced by Hugo.
I promise very soon to write a more extensive post about this great artist, who has one of the most popular songs in the world, such as "Moliendo Café".

Cada 16 de mayo se celebra en Venezuela el Día del Compositor, por tal motivo quiero compartir esta imagen del año 2012, junto a uno de los compositores más importantes de actividad musical en Venezuela. Hugo Blanco (1940-2015) destacó como músico, compositor y sobre todo como productor. Fue casi un rey Midas en ese terreno, pues todas sus producciones eran éxitosas.
Yo tuve la oportunidad de conocerlo bastante, entrevistarlo y grabar en su estudio en muchas ocasiones. Así que hoy aprovecho para rendirle un homenaje como autor y traer esta imagen a mi #tbt.
Vale destacar que la otra persona en la foto es mi prima, Iris Gavidia, conocida como La Potra, cantante de música llanera, cuyos primeros discos fueron producidos por Hugo.
Prometo muy pronto escribir un post más extenso sobre este gran artista, que tiene en su haber una de las canciones más populares a nivel mundial, como lo es "Moliendo Café".

Mai wird in Venezuela der Tag des Komponisten gefeiert, aus diesem Grund möchte ich dieses Bild des Jahres 2012 neben einem der wichtigsten Komponisten der musikalischen Aktivität in Venezuela teilen. Hugo Blanco (1940-2015) zeichnete sich als Musiker, Komponist und vor allem als Produzent aus. Er war fast ein Midas-König auf diesem Gebiet, weil alle seine Produktionen erfolgreich waren.
Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, ihn gut zu kennen, zu interviewen und in seinem Studio aufzunehmen. Deshalb nutze ich heute die Gelegenheit, als Autor meinen Tribut zu zollen und dieses Bild meinem #tbt zu bringen.
Es ist bemerkenswert, dass die andere Person auf dem Foto meine Cousine Iris Gavidia ist, bekannt als La Potra, Sängerin der Llanera-Musik, deren erste Alben von Hugo produziert wurden.
