From No. 1 hits to album sales to tour grosses, these figures help tell the tale of Swift's immense success with her 2014 album.

Taylor Swift finished the final show of her Eras global tour in the United States on Wednesday night (August 9 - 8/9, get it? ), making fans' greatest wishes come true: 1989 (Taylor's Version) was officially on its way.

The fourth installment of the superstar's six-part re-recording project will be her milestone 2014 album, which will be released on October 27 - nine years to the day that the original 1989 was published. 1989 (Taylor's Version) will be followed by Fearless (Taylor's Version), Red (Taylor's Version), and Speak Now (Taylor's Version); the latter just had the year's biggest debut on the Billboard 200 chart when it was released last month, while the first two topped the Billboard 200 when they were released in 2021.

Although all of Swift's studio albums have sold well, 1989 is notably important to her biography. With singles like "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," "Style," and "Bad Blood," the album signified a return to full-fledged mainstream music after years of experimentation.
