A Polish female tourist was raped in front of her lover by a criminal gang in the beach sands near the Adriatic town of Italy's east coast.

The news website British newspaper, Daily Mail, Sunday edition (27/08/2017), reported, rape of female tourists aged 26 years was done by a gang of men.

The rapists took their depth acts in turns in front of the victim's couple, who had been brutally beaten and robbed by the perpetrators.

Both victims are now being treated at a nearby hospital. Italian police are investigating the case of the popular Italian tourist beaches of Rimini, but the coast is very remote on the eastern coast of Italy.

A female German tourist claimed to have been kidnapped and raped by two men in southern India.

The German woman police said two men dragged her to a deserted place from a beach resort in the tourist town of Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu state.

"We received reports of rape cases and our officers were searching for suspected perpetrators," local police chief Santosh said on Monday (3/4/2017).

"We have questioned a number of witnesses but we have not made any arrests," Santosh added.

Santosh continued, medical tests proved that the tourist was indeed raped and the German embassy in New Delhi had already gotten this news.

The incident occurred less than three weeks after the bodies of an Irish tourist were found in a naked condtion in the state of Goa.

Danielle McLaughlin, 28, was found in a vacant lot not far from a beach on March 16 with scars all over her body.

Currently, the police have arrested a local man allegedly involved in the rape and murder of the Irish tourist.

The case of rape that befell foreign tourists in India is not just this time and the Western countries have even warned its citizens to travel to India.

In December last year, a 35-year-old Japanese tourist was raped jugua in southern India.

While in 2014, a Danish woman was raped by several people in New Delhi after she lost her way in the city.

In June last year, five people were sentenced to jail for the rape of the Danish tourist.
