Tauchain needs graphic designers and marketing expertssteemCreated with Sketch.

In my previous post someone asked me about what Tauchain needs to be successful. I mentioned that having the best platform technically is not the key to success. The key to success starts with explaining your platform to the current stakeholders and encouraging the current stakeholders to work together to explain it to future stakeholders. In essence the issue with Tauchain today is centralization of knowledge about what Tauchain is and difficulty in diffusion of that knowledge.

I am not a graphic designer but recently Ohad Asor published a graphic:

As you can see from this graphic Tauchain is complex and not going to be simple to explain. What is needed is an infographic which can provide a step by step description of each concept in that graphic in an interesting fun way. Of course this task would have to be coordinated with Ohad who has the Tau design primarily in his head but this infographic can accompany the whitepaper for people who are visual learners.

If any Tauchain stakeholders also have the skills to create infographics please feel free to join the Facebook group and share your work, offer your assistance. It's up to stakeholders to support Ohad and help bring Tauchain from idea, to proof of concept, to minimal viable product. Feel free to volunteer.

THIS 1000x! I'm so glad this post exists... when I saw Ohad's post/chart this morning I thought the exact same thing.

I had not come across your posts yet Dana - as a follower of the project I'm very excited to see you are actively helping Ohad translate his vision into a consumable format.

I was already thinking of ways that this chart from Ohad can be better represented, we are thinking along the same lines.

Here is a core concept of Tau which needs graphic designers to create an info graphic. Automatic programming (program synthesis): https://steemit.com/tauchain/@dana-edwards/tauchain-the-automated-programmer

The infographic should show the human beings of all shapes, races, ages, communicating in various languages, which then is translated into "machine language", which becomes a "formal specification" for the automatic programmer to go to work. The automatic programmer is really just the AI built from the "expert system" or knowledge based approach which reasons over a very large knowledge base. Human beings of course will fill this knowledge base manually in the beginning but after there is enough knowledge then piecing together a smart contract will look like fitting together puzzles. So you might want to tell the graphic designers to use the puzzle shapes for their art representing smart contracts and big data would represent the collective knowledge base expressed as a bunch of known facts. Reasoning would look like a cloud of various logic symbols being manipulated with some numbers.

Artists can take inspiration from this article: https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg23331144-500-ai-learns-to-write-its-own-code-by-stealing-from-other-programs/

As it explains it in a way most people can grasp. Yes Tauchain will write at least a portion of it's own code. The automated programmer would be a use case of an "exocortex" for people aware of what that is.

Thanks for your post. I am following tau and I think It's a great idea to create ifo graphic, also a real use case for Tau ( like: https://medium.com/matchpool/how-a-doctor-from-japan-can-use-matchpool-62a368084dd3 ) can significantly help people to understand it and will bring more people to the network. I only have one question, instead of looking for volunteers, why not to go to professional marketing/branding agency, such a project definitely deserves that. So much potential, best UI/UX Designers and marketers should work on it.
