Gabchik Tattoos. Samodiva Called Karma.

Today I finally finished this tattoo. The design is mine and it is inspired by client's idea.

The Samodiva is a forest spirit which can be seen only by chosen people. Some of them have to be born on specific days. Her look can dazzle and even kill.

When I met with Krasen (the client), he gave me the following key ideas:

• A samodiva holding a sand clock
• She broke the clock and has a concerned look
• A milky way

I then connected these elements. The milky way became a mix of the spilled sand from the clock.

I can see that some lines in the hair need correction, but practice makes perfect. Tattooing is my hobby. I do not do it professionally, but most of my clients are happy. That is what motivates me to keep doing it.

I felt the sincerity in Krasen words, when he said that he really likes it. At the end of the day that makes me happy. Because I feel this samodiva as my creation it had to be given a name! He did not think much and named her Karma.

I am aware that to become a professional I have to start work at a studio, but for now I am not ready. There people come (and most of the time) want something very common or a ready design.
