According to its creators, conventional inks form very big dye molecules that our immune system cannot clean up over time but with this new ink the dye molecules that are formed while tattooing are formed inside a spherical structure and with time as the structure degrades the ink starts vanishing. 

Also the company is also trying to build a tattoo remover product that could wash away the ink before its timespan is completed. In future we may see tattoo products that can easily be applied to tattoo and remove them like a sketch done with pencil.
