How I become a tattooer. Truth, myths & goals.
Hi everyone! I'm Anastasia and I'm beginner tattoo artist. I've started this blog to tell you my tattoo story.
Briefly about myself: 19 y.o., the whole my life I was living in Moscow and now I live in Sochi for a year. Basically I'm an artist (more in mind than in real life). Since I was little I try to understand who I am and find my way, but there were no results. At 15 I understood that I'd like to become a graphic/web designer and started to learn Photoshop. And yes, I made some projects, but there are lots of designers and all of them are better than me (: Moreover, I would like to communicate not only with my MacBook and PS, but with other people.
And one day, I really don't know why, I came in tattoo studio and asked if they teach. I've never thought about to be a tattooer because of my strict upbringing and it was a very strange feeling because I did this unconsciously. Like I was in a dream or it did someone else but not me. I came out too exited to understand anything but I know I need to find money for training. And again web design has helped me: I did a site for one company and get needed money.
It began so unusually, I did not know anything about it and all the information I received was with a sense of sleep. At first I learn the theory: structure of machines, it's assembly, needles, pigments, protection, disinfection, styles and all thing about the tattooing. Then I started to try with the pencil in the machine on paper to accustom my hand to vibration.
And here are my first works on imitation leather specially for tattoo.
Yes, I know it isn't the best thing you've ever seen but my future works were rather good. Not to do this post too long I would like to finish it. Next time I'll tell you about protection while working with the skin and show other works. Bye! (:
Maybe I'm reading a famous tattoo artist of the future .... keep working
Nice ツ
