2017 Tata Motors manufacturer launches the latest commercial vehicle named Tata Prima LX 2528
Tata Motors manufacturer launches the latest commercial vehicle named Tata Prima LX 2528.K in Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2017. The launch was attended by President Director of PT Tata Motors of Indonesia Distribution Biswadev Sengupta.
"This is a good time for us to introduce this Tata Tata truck along with the increase of infrastructure projects," he said when met at ICE, BSD, Tangerang, Thursday, August 10, 2017.
Biswadev said this commercial car has been tested for more than 2.5 years in extreme off-road terrain and the results are felt very satisfactory. This car is using a 6x4 drive system so it can overcome the off-road terrain in the mining area in Indonesia.
Tata Prima LX 2528.K has a gross vehicle weight of up to 25 tons and uses Cummins diesel engine with Euro III emission standards high-powered. So that makes this vehicle has power up to 280 horse power at 2,500 rpm.
The truck also comes with a nine speed transmission and can reach a maximum speed of up to 87 kilometers per hour. Tata Motors saw the presence of this new product makes their line of prime trucks more complete.
