Hukad: Filipino Comfort Food

I find Filipino food as my comfort food. Visiting Hukad relieves me from a stressful day. Sipping a bowl of hot Sinigang sa Hipon or Filipino Sour Soup with Shrimp is completely satisfying.
As meat eaters, we had Lechon Kawali and Grilled Pork Belly as our main course. Both were slices of pork belly but cooked in different ways. Lechon Kawali was deep fried pork belly. I can still imagine how tasty and crispy was the pork's skin. Grilled pork belly is best paired with the atsara or pickled unripe papaya.
What really made my Hukad experience complete was the happy and very accommodating crew. From the moment we stepped inside, we were already greeted by their happy faces. They have been consistent with their smiles even until we left. We were even asked if we enjoyed our food. Happy crew means happy customer.
Love lots,
@wandergirl ❤

Thanks @hafizullah! Filipino foods do have rich flavor though sometimes sinful because of fats or sweetness. Will just eat in moderation.
