My Favorite Veggie Food: Caesar Salad
Caesar Salad at Lucy's Kitchen is not bad. In fact, their salad will be one vegetarian delight that I will crave or run to whenever I feel like eating one. The place is located at Market 88, Kapayan, about 10 minutes car ride from Kota Kinabalu city.
The place is painted in classic white and well decorated with nice photos/paintings. I especially love the chandelier lighting they used to light up the place.
This restaurant serves western and local food.
Now here is the beautiful and appetizing Caesar Salad that I ordered. It's a simple mixed of veggie, bread, egg, tomato, some sprinkle of salt, cheese and mixed with a special sauce. This costed RM15.00 (USD3.63) each.
Business hour: Opened Monday to Saturday from 11AM to 9PM.

It was invented in Tijuana, Mexico during the prohibition one day when US Patrons were coming to eat and the restaurant was out of ingredients.
It’s not really vegetarian because the dressing uses sardines.

Learned a thing or two in this post. It does make food interesting knowing how it came to be. It would be interesting to use sardines as dressing, no?
