K678 - A Delicious BBQ
Good day dear @tasteem, Steemians and food lovers. This week I would like to bring you to a restaurant located at Plaza 333, Penampang. The place is just about 10 minutes drive from Donggongon Town or 25 minutes from Kota Kinabalu City town. It's open daily from 3.00 PM to 10.00 PM.
Annyeonghaseyo, (slightly nodding my head) now let me take you to a Korean food in Borneo!
Outdoor Dining Area
The restaurant I'm talking about is located on a corner lot.
It's an open area equipped with cyling fans so while barbecuing, you can chat with your friends or family without being worried about being suffocated from the smoke coming from the barbeque grill itself. One thing I love about this place is that you can barbeque outside while watching cars passing-by and the sunset.
Indoor Dining
Inside its neat and clean with barbeque tables and chairs arranged nicely.
The deco in the restaurant is very simple and there’s a cartoon illustration something to do with eating BBQ food. I love the idea of having dinner with charcoal Korean BBQ grill tables that they arranged in an open air style. The BBQ grill table can accommodate about 4 to 5 individual grilling and the stainless steel surfaces allows everyone to prepare their own meal and eat together while sharing stories and creating memories!
The Food
Here are the menus available for this restaurant.
We ordered the BBQ Set B, a single small bowl of rice, Bibimbap and a jug of cold green tea. This set comes with raw meat for the BBQ with the combination of Chicken, Pork and Lamb. Its appetizing and good combination to eat with rice!
This restaurant is a paradise for meat eaters, fresh and marinated meats are aplenty to satisfy the hungriest of carnivores. The foods are tasty and fresh. The set that we ordered is enough for 2 to 3 people, depending on how heavy eater you are.
The barbecue is done atop a stainless non-stick BBQ grill that looks like a car Sport Rim Cover. Underneath, a real charcoal flame will heat-up the grill for you to grill your food.
Fragrant, fresh and delicious, the marinated meat slices is fresh!
Eating Kimchi on a Korean restaurant is a must.
This restaurant Miso soup is tasty.
My Thoughts
It’s a good place to bring your friends or family. The service is good - as soon as you sat down at the table, the waiter is already on standby to take your orders. The restaurant is clean and nice environment to chill out and talk with your family or friends while barbecuing. Price is quite reasonable and I will return for the Bibimbap when the crave for Korean food strikes me.
I highly recommended this place to my friends out there.
