BBQ Wild Boar

Let me just say this, it may look frightening and scary !!! LOL. However, this place is as Real Exotic it can be. Tuck away from the City Center about 1 hour away, with a cool mist in the air, and chilly environment. It's the best place and weather to eat this Exotic Wild Boar Meat.

I and my business partner stop by for this delicious exotic delicacy.

The dark green leaf is Cooked Hill Rice (Above Pic - Right), wrapped with the Tarap Tree leaf. Totally Exotic it can be, reminds me of my childhood back the village where my Grandpa would use the leaf to wrapped food for my Lunch Box to school.

They also sell a lot of variety of condiments, Sambal (Chili Paste), Tuhau (Wild Ginger Roots), Bambangan (Wild Mango) too.

A more up close picture on how they look like in the jar. Great combination with the BBQ Wild Pork, especially with hot rice. Yummmmmmyyyy.....

My view with my can of Tiger Beer, really spectacular view of the Borneo Jungle as my backdrop.

I and partner ordered a Wild Boar Hot Soup and each individual plate of BBQ Wild Boar.

Enjoy while you can right ?? hehe ...lol.

The wild boar is cooked in open fire using traditionally wood fire from the Jungle.

You can see the banner along the roadside going to Kundasang, or Kinabalu National Park, where the Mt Kinabalu is situated.

The front view of the stall, they also sell local exotic fruits that cant be found anywhere else in the world too. Which is the Tarap fruit, only can be grown in Borneo. Only in Borneo Yeah!!!

Do be careful when driving along this road, as the midst sometime would get really thick and hard to see the road.

This place is totally worth to Drive Up to have Lunch
