Best Breakfast with Ah Fatt Kuey Teow Soup
Breakfast may not just be Bacon, Eggs, Muffin, Sausage and Baked Beans. If you living in South East Asia, the Best Breakfast may come from the Roadside stall, a perfect bowl of Pho (Vietnam) with thier special brew coffee, Congee (China) serve with "You Tiaw" a deep fried soft dough or in India serve the best Tosai with Chutneys.
In Malaysia we get our breakfast in variants choices, some prefer Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, a bowl of Laksa, or a simple Roti Kahwin, however in Sabah this is how i rolled my breakfast at this famous joint.
This is one of my top 5 list of comfort food in Kota Kinabalu, " Ah Fatt Kuey Teow Soup" , this recipe basically came from Penang, he himself the owner came to Sabah to work, after so many years perfecting the Sabahan pallet of taste.
He (Ah Fatt) finally open his own shop, he use to run thru a stall, renting a small space. After years of serving the people here, he finally settle down in Sabah, marrying a Local Dusun girl from Papar.
Whom apparently i knew since i was in Single bachelor. Lucky him, now the shop is run by her and her families from Papar. Ah Fatt now concentrate making Fish Ball and Fish Cakes at their home to cater demand of other places ordering from them .
YES, they are FAMOUS of making Fresh Fish Balls and Fish Cakes, you go anyother Fish Noodle Shop here in KK, the Fish Ballsand Fish Cakes usually comes from this guy Ah Fatt.
Now lets see what they serve!!!
Their Menu and Prices shown pretty straught forward and clearly. This is what i like, very clear and Big Words, good for those bad vision to see it.

This is Ah Fatt Bro In Law, He is my Truly Mate here, whenever he see me, he will personally remeber my table, and he know what i want always. So, my bowl of Kuey Teow Soup usually is more than others.

Picture with the Boss WIFE, hehe. !! Pretty and Humble. Sometimes when iam alone and i go to the counter to pay, she would not charge my drinks. Lol. How Sweet!!! Very Thankful.
Menu on Print, for those people Far Sighted, and still very good menu, clear cut and straight to the point.
This part is amazing, their blended cili is out of this world, Not too spicy and not too sour. DIY cili for your spicy level.
This is mine, Fish Noodle with Innered Pork. This is normal portion, very generous with their meat portion. Oh Well, like i say, this mine specially craft. :) . Here also i not eating carbs, No Kuey Teow here.
This one belong to Dad. Whom the the Signature dih , Kueay Teow soup with everything inside.
This one belong to @gelfire whom order the same Fish Noodle but with Fish based No Pork No Kuey Teow too.
I order side dish of their crowd favourite , deep fried Fish Cake. Awesome Dudeeeeeee!!!!! Yummmmm

The bill was RM34.90 / $8.40 for 3 bowl and 1 Side Dish. What do you think ? Cheap right ??
Oh well, what else can i say when i am full!! :) I truly recommend EVERYBODY to come here at least once to try this dish. I definately recommend to try this in the morning breakfast as this will fulfill your hungry tummy.
