Food Sharing #136 - Quince Café @ Artarmon, Australia

Hi Everyone,

We wanted to update a piece of furniture at home so we went to our closest homemaker centre at Artarmon. Where the homemaker centre is located, there are minimal food options but luckily at the centre, there is an acceptable cafe that has a variety of food for the family.

Let’s have a look at the menu first. They also have a counter with some salads and hot food which you can order. We ordered a matcha latte, egg benedict with bacon & rice with Thai chicken which was ordered from the hot food section.

Here come our food and drink. Firstly the matcha latte was delicious. I am not a coffee person but the matcha was actually a good balance. The egg benedict looked really good but I think it was too heavy due to the sauce. Although my other half liked it, I prefer less sauce or leave it on the side. My rice with Thai chicken was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken was too tough. Maybe they overcooked it or the cut of the chicken was the tough bit but unfortunately I didn’t like it.

The price was average considering there isn’t much competition around the area. There is plenty of seating as there are two sides as I can see it getting pretty busy during lunch times on weekdays with many offices/factories around the area.

最近想為我們家買點新東西所以到我們家附近的傢俱中心逛逛. 這裡有一家 cafe 店方便來買傢俱的家庭來吃飯. 我們叫了杯錄茶拿鐵, 泰式雞肉配炒飯和蛋配燻肉. 杯錄茶拿鐵非常好喝, 我平常喜歡喝茶但今次我覺得真的不錯. 我老公吃的蛋配燻肉我覺得還可以但個人覺得醬太多但味道不錯. 我的泰式雞肉配炒飯真的有點失望. 雞肉太硬，覺得他們應該煮太久.
