Food Sharing #113 - Top Ryde Baker’s House @ Top Ryde Sydney
Hi Everyone,
I love having banh mi not only because it is cheap and cheerful but it tastes sooooo good! My friends and I met up for a kids playdate and none of the kids wanted to leave the scooter park so we decided to get some takeaway food and bring it back to the park. There is a really nice bakery called Top Ryde Baker’s House which makes some delicious banh mi.
As there was a bit of a crowd there due to the weekend, I couldn’t get a picture of the menu but you can choose the traditional pork, fried chicken, chinese BBQ pork, vegetarian etc. There are such a variety as there are many diet restriction people have so the more options the better. I just bought two traditional pork rolls with one without chilli and no onions if any. Each roll costs $6 and varies in price depending on the filling you want.
You can never go wrong with a banh mi roll in Sydney. I don’t remember having a yucky tasting one but remember to choose one where you see a line or popular in the area or you run the risk of getting a bad stomach ache if they leave the meat and sauces out for too long.
