Food Sharing #98 - The Creperie Cafe @ Denarau Island, Fiji
Hi Everyone,
Most times when we are in Fiji, we stay in the resorts and just eat at the restaurants or cafes. This time when we visited, we decided to venture out to the few shops outside our resort at the Sheraton as a friend of ours recommended we should try a place that sells really nice crepes and ice cream.
Let’s have a look at their menu first. As it is a small cafe, the options are limited as most visitors would be coming from a the resorts around. Apart from the food options displayed on the wall, there is also drinks like the standard coffees and beers.
Here comes our food. I ordered a nutella banana crepe and the ice coffee was for my other half. The crepe came out nice and hot with plenty of nutella inside and out. Taste I think wise I think there was too much nutella but that is my preference as I am sure many people love to have more of it in their crepes. The pastry was thin and freshly made which was really good. The ice coffee was average but it was nice and cold.
Price was it is expensive compared to what we expect to pay in Sydney but it is a lot cheaper than the food in the resort. And the surprising part, the ice coffee actually cost more than my crepe!
