Today I would like to take you to a new dessert place called Ice Cube Sweet which recently opened at Market City in Chinatown, Sydney. As we went there on Monday night, there weren’t many people but I can imagine on the weekend it will be packed as that would be busiest time for business in the city.
Let’s have a look at the menu first. There are different shaved ice with traditional Asian toppings and drinks to choose from.
We ended up order H and E with one ingredient changed. We also chose Grass Jelly with shaved ice! Here it comes! The serving was huge and is enough for 2 people per bowl.
Taste wise it was actually not bad considering it is a dessert after all and it is not too sweet. I haven’t had grass jelly for a long time so it was very refreshing. Price wise it was well worth the $8.50 or so each as it can feed two people with the one serving. There are heaps of toppings and you don’t feel like you are getting nothing for what you paid for. There are plenty of seating and I love the pastel coloured look through the restaurant. When I am in the city, I will definitely try to visit the place again for dessert.
