Food Sharing #114 - Sakuratei @ Sydney, Australia
Hi Everyone,
The good thing going back to work is definitely try different restaurants at lunch time. Today I’ll be taking you Sakuratei on Market Street which is close to my work. I have been going here for a long time and I am still surprised that it is still around after many years away from work.
Let’s have a look at the menu. As you can see, there are lots of options from rice to ramen, there is something for everyone!

We ordered a pork katsu don which comes with a miso soup and salmon don which also comes with a miso soup.

The size of the pork katsu was relatively big but my salmon don was a bit small. I am not a big eater but I wasn’t too full with that serving. Taste wise, both meals were delicious but if the sizing could improve a bit, I would give a slightly high star rating. Service is acceptable considering it is lunch time and it does get very busy. Staff was attentive and try to serve you as quickly as possible. There is plenty of seating inside and outside so depending on the weather, sitting outside is a nice change.
