Food Sharing #109 - Sushi Joy @ Northbridge, Australia
Hi Everyone,
Sushi Joy has been a local favourite in particular when we go and do the grocery we love dropping by for a quick meal. The boss is a local Japanese and is very friendly. The restaurant is very small but it is enough for a nice Japanese lunch meal.
Let’s have a look at the menu. The menu is simple but it is sufficient. There are different sized meals and menu boxes so there is something for everyone.
I ordered the regular tempura udon set which comes with sushi and my other half ordered a chicken bento box. The bento box also comes with a miso soup so it’s perfect for a cooler day. The size for both meals were substantial especially the udon set comes with sushi on the side. It is such a perfect meal to have before you have a long battle at the supermarket. The price is average as it is in a suburbs and cannot compare to the prices in the city were there are more competition.

Are they closing down??? :( After 24 years? :( Such things always make me a little sad, as a few places feel as if they are a staple to certain communities....

This food you put in is not common here in Brazil. Besides, I'm not much of a fish fan. I know that for you is something normal and pleasant, but here in Brazil, fish or sea food is appreciated by few, both for not having custom and for being more expensive. Normal meat here is ox, cow and pork ...
