The impoverished menu sounds good, starting at £15 a main is a little much for me. They tend to downsize these 'value' meals but that's OK as I have an appetite of a sparrow.
I agree - £15 is way too much, especially when the sides are on top. But these set menus are great value for money, really high quality food and cooking, plus, as you say, sensible portions as well.
The paella night sounds good value, too - tapas, paella and Sangria at £25 for two. It will be good for the various get togethers over the summer when the young people are back from University.
It's a really nice village, I'm looking forward to trying some of the other restaurants. I came across the Lighthouse through my sewing group - they're having their annual dinner there.
