My Weekly Choice / Typical Hungarian Food🇭🇺

Hi Tasteem and Tasteemians,

Recently I had a chance to visit Sopron, a small city in Hungary. This is a very lovely small city, close to the border of Austria. After exploring this lovely city, we went to a restaurant for lunch. We chose to visit a restaurant names “Graben”. This restaurant located at the end of the walking street in the shopping zone.

From Spring to Summer, this restaurant has the outdoor tables area setup for the customers. This open air area offer comfortness and fresh air. The exterior is in a modern classic style in earth tone colors.

As I don’t have a permission to show the identity of the other restaurant customers, the restaurant suggested me to use the commercial pictures of the restaurant. This pictures has been taken by “itt ja’rtam.hu”

The menu are typical Hungarian food in a modern style. The taste of the food is delicious. We ordered pea-soup, grilled fish with potatoes and a famous Hungarian meat-soup calls “Gulash”. I would like to suggest the customers to oder local fruits juices as a drink. This give you a very special and interest taste.

The service was very good. Most of the waiters were friendly (gorgeous)men ;)

The price here is for the local people very expensive, because of the lower standard income. But to compare the price with another middle Europian countries, the price is still much cheaper. We paid 8,230 Ft ( almost 30 Euro) for 2 person foods and drinks.

This restaurant received almost 5 Stars rating from the local gide website! And this is my personal rating:

My own opinion:

This restaurant is suitable for tourists who loves to try typical Hungarian food, family or friends meetings. They offer quality menu, also for a vegetarian but if you are a Vegan, you maybe have nothing in your category.
