STEEM Food Tours #70 Natalna Grille, La Union Philippines

Let me take you to a place where you'll meet heaven if you eat here everyday. Being an early bird, one of the Doctors in our clinic brought us to this place called Natalna Grille. Though I've been to the beach in this strip, I've never known of this restaurant in that many years. He drove us down from Baguio to La Union and the travel time was around an hour and 30 minutes. We traveled late in the afternoon so we got there at night.

As soon as we got there, we were hungry. Our Doctor was the one who ordered the food for us because this is usually the place that he goes to, to eat whenever he gets the chance.

This is their whole menu, when I read it, the cuisine that they serve was like a fusion of Filipino and Japanese food. They serve Appetizers/ Pulutan, Sashimi, Snacks, Soup, Rice, Salads, Crispy/ Fried dishes, Grilled Beef, Grilled pork, grilled Seafood, sizzling dishes and beverages. I'm surprised with the prices that they had. It was actually affordable when you see the quantity and the quality of the food.

Coming from a cold place to a warm place. We ordered drinks. A buko shake and it was so refreshing to drink after that trip.

We started off by eating Kani Salad, it was composed of lettuce, shredded cucumber, Japanese mayo, shredded crab sticks and to top it off they put tobiko or flying fish roe.

The next appetizer that was brought to our table and this is one of my favorite food. Chicharon Bulaklak or deep-fried ruffled fat is a popular Filipino appetizer, It is usually paired with vinegar. This just tastes soooo heavenly!!!!


And I thought we had enough fat coming from the Chicharon Bulaklak. We also got Aligue rice/ Crab Fat. It was my very first time eating this kind of rice. It was very rich and savory


Prawns with lemon butter sauce. The sauce complimented the prawns well. It was actually very tasty.


To add to the dishes that he ordered was sisig with egg. Sisig is actually minced pork with chopped onions and some of them also add chicken liver with it. We also got vegetables but I wasn't able to take a photo of it.

As soon as you get in you have the choice to stay inside or eat outside. The only perks that you would have when you stay inside is the air con.

We actually decided to sit outside of their place wherein you can see the beach from here. There were a lot of people during that time. One thing that I loved about this place is that the service was fast

I was also able to take a photo of this place without people in it.


As you can in this photo, that's the beach beside this restaurant.

To be honest this one of the best dining experience that I had. The food was sooo delicious though it can be very deadly too if you eat too much. If I was given another chance to eat here, I would go again.
