STEEM Food Tours#50-CHIQUEEN- Baguio City, Philippines -------Vote for @steemitbloggers!
When I read the title of the contest cheap and fabulous. This was the first place that came into my mind. This restaurant's name is Chiqueen which is located here at Engineer's Hill Baguio City, Philippines(to be precise, Marcoville street behind Microtel)
Currently they have 2 branches and this was my very first time to visit the place. This is their newest branch that opened this February. Their design is so unique that its just colored yellow and red.
This is the counter where you order
This is the menu. The cheapest thing that you can order here is worth 75Php or 1.44 United States Dollar and the most expensive which is a whole chicken worth 260 Php or 5.00 United States Dollar.
It's self service to get utensils and water.
While waiting for the food I was checking this place out. And I found out that they're opened 24 hours.
Here's another view of the restaurant. I'm not sure what time is the peak time where people eat here but the time I went there with my brother there were no people.
This is what we got with my brother. Beef Pares, it is a Filipino dish and it is braised beef stew served with garlic fried rice. And we got it with a Bone Marrow at the side, they blowtorched the marrow. The meal was so delicious! I had to give some of the bone marrow to my brother because my head was starting to hurt haha. But overall I want to go back to try their other dishes.

You are so mean. That bone marrow is my weakness. Why are the food that are so delicious bad for the health lol. Maybe one bone marrow per month is ok lol.
